When everyday tasks take more effort

For some adults, ADHD-related difficulties show up as missed deadlines, interrupted focus, or a to-do list that keeps growing. Others notice the effort it takes to organize a day or recover after an emotionally intense moment. Your experience does not have to look like anyone else’s.

  • Starting tasks, especially when they feel unclear or uninteresting
  • Planning, prioritizing, and estimating how long things will take
  • Keeping track of commitments and belongings
  • Following through while navigating distraction
  • Managing frustration, overwhelm, and self-critical thoughts

Practical strategies, built around your life

Lance uses CBT-based support to explore the relationship between thinking, feelings, and behavior. Together, you may examine what happens before a task is avoided, make a plan more manageable, or try a reminder system that fits your routines.

Mindfulness can help you pause and notice distraction or emotional reactions. Sessions are collaborative: you can discuss what worked between appointments, what got in the way, and what needs adjusting.

What online ADHD therapy involves

Virtual sessions give you space to talk through real examples from work, home, or relationships. You and Lance can identify priorities and choose small steps to practice in daily life. Eligible adults attend from a private location in North Carolina.

Lance provides therapy, not formal ADHD diagnostic testing, psychological assessments, or medication management. If those services are needed, they require an appropriate separate provider.
